Warwick is a Senior Analytical Chemist at Fera. His role is to deliver a high-quality service to a wide range of UK and overseas government and commercial clients. The team utilises a range of both cutting edge and traditional techniques to provide comprehensive analytical services covering trace levels of food contaminants.

Warwick has participated as an external expert on working groups for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for processing contaminants, presenting on MCPD and Glycidyl esters in Brussels in 2016. He was also part of an expert panel for the AOCS discussing a scientific opinion for the analyses of these compounds in infant formulae. Warwick has authored or co-authored over 13 peer-reviewed papers with one currently in-Press.

Warwick attends the EURL conferences for the analyses of veterinary medicines and presents on issues relating to processing contaminants, as well as having published on human exposure to phthalates and chaired and organised an RSc meeting in 2004 on endocrine disruptors as part of his involvement on the panel for the NERAD of the RSc. Warwick has also spent much of his career analysing pesticide residues and is currently involved in work for the environmental contaminants section.
