Laura Faulkner started at Fera Science in September 2014 where she began her Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Laboratory and Associated Technical Techniques, and BTEC Diploma in Applied Science. Whilst studying she worked in the Pesticide Department for 9 months, then moved across to the Central Chemical Supply System (CCSS) team. After successful completion, she is now studying for her Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Biomedical Science.

Her position as an Assistant Scientist in CCSS in Environmental Fate is fundamental to the whole team. Laura provides technical support by processing wet chemistry procedures, operating analytical instruments, research studies, good laboratory practice (GLP) as well as supporting the study supervisors and directors.
