Fera Science Ltd are proud to announce the appointment of Osama Chahrour in our new role of Analytical Chemistry Team Leader.
Fera hope that this new position will provide further support to our current range of investigative programs and develop our existing reputation as the ‘go to’ lab for challenging small molecule mass spectroscopy applications.
The new position has a variety of duties that are fundamental to the success of our operations at Fera. However, with Osama bringing over 14 years’ experience to the position, we are confident that he will hit the ground running. Osama’s most important roles will be to manage investigative programs, GLP studies and regulatory studies, providing technical support and reporting directly to the board on these projects. It is also Osama’s responsibility to manage the safety and cases for capital expenditure in the GC-MS facility.
Osama comes to us following a long stretch at Almac UK, where he progressed from being a Senior Analytical Chemist-Mass Spectroscopy to the role of Team Leader. His skill sets and experience from his time there means he should have no difficulty making the transition to working at Fera.
Osama is not only changing jobs but also the country in which he lives to take on this role, moving from Northern Ireland to Yorkshire. Osama suggested that it was ‘the opportunity of joining an organisation with a great reputation, that conducts cutting edge research and helps sustain environmental safety’ that convinced him to relocate and join Fera.
