This is to inform you that Fera has taken all measures to ensure business continuity for the safe supply of our full scope of services from York, UK. Our laboratory and expert scientist teams understand more than ever, the importance of our role in providing accessible and timely support to all of our customers and partners.
We take our role supporting you and your business very seriously and are committed to maintaining our high service levels so that we can support you and the nation throughout the turbulent months ahead. As recognized by the Government in its Key Worker designations, this is a critical time to support UK food security for production, distribution, retail, farming and the biosecurity of our environment.
Following the latest Government guidance, we have implemented a series of measures that will ensure we can continue to support you, whilst also minimizing risk to every single person involved. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our colleagues, customers and community. Fera is fortunate not only to have such a dedicated, client focussed and expert scientist base, but also to operate from expansive laboratories enabling safe distance working across all departments.
Fera will always put the safety of people first. Whilst some areas of our business may operate differently, we can reassure you that all departments and services of Fera remain open. Should there be any change to our delivery plans we promise to contact you in advance to work through the implications for your service delivery.
Whilst our UK laboratory remains open, we have restricted to key worker and ‘essential‘ those who are permitted to work on site so a large number are now working from home where you can still contact them by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by telephone. Additionally, we are now conducting all consulting, business, technical meetings and, even our training services, virtually using a variety of the latest virtual meeting tools.
We will continue to review the situation and will remain in contact as circumstances change. If you have any concerns or, if there are additional means by which we can support you - please contact us.
We wish good health for you, for your families and for your communities.
