  1. Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae) - Option 2
Angular leaf spot is a disease in strawberries caused by the bacterial pathogen Xanthomonas fragariae.
  2. Angular leaf spot (Xanthomonas fragariae) - Option 1

A latent test for a bacterial disease affecting strawberries caused by Xanthomonas fragariae.

  3. Barley yellow dwarf virus and Soil borne cereal mosaic virus

This testing for cereal crops covers both Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) and Soil-borne cereal mosaic virus.

  4. Cereals: Barley mild mosaic virus and Barley yellow mosaic virus
Barley yellow mosaic virus and Barley mild mosaic virus are pathogenic viruses which cause yellow mosaic disease of winter barley.
  5. Crown Gall Disease (Tumor-Inducing Plasmid) Testing
A test for Rhizobium radiobacter (formerly known as Agrobacterium tumefaciens), which is responsible for crown gall disease in plants. The bacterium enters the plant through wounds in roots or stems and stimulates disorganised tissue growth, producing swollen galls.
  6. Soft Rotting Bacteria (average tuber inoculum load)
This test provides a total count of soft rotting bacteria in potato tubers.
  7. Spraing test for symptomatic tubers (Tobacco rattle virus & Potato mop top virus)

Tests for the 2 viruses responsible for spraing, the nematode transmitted Tobacco rattle virus (TRV) and the Powdery scab transmitted Potato mop top virus (PMTV)

  8. Tomato mosaic virus by ELISA - Seeds
Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), is an infection that can cause yellowing and stunting of tomato plants, resulting in reduced yield and may cause uneven ripening of fruit.
  9. Pepino mosaic virus in seed by ELISA
Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) affected tomatoes show distorted leaf development, with bubbling of the leaf surface and chlorosis.
  10. Potato spindle tuber viroid by TaqMan® - Seeds

The common symptoms of Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) can include stunted growth and changes in the foliage colour in extensively affected crops.

  11. Pea seed-borne mosaic virus by ELISA - Seeds
Pea seed-borne mosaic virus (PSbMV) a seed and aphid transmitted virus that causes yield losses and seed defects in a range of bean and pea crops.
  12. Lettuce mosaic virus by ELISA - seeds
Lettuce mosaic virus (LMV) is a seed transmissible virus causing defects in lettuce heading, leaf distortions and variation in leaf colour.
