  1. Pospiviroid seed testing package (1500 seeds)

Pospiviroid positives detected by real time RT-PCR (TaqMan) are tested by RT-PCR and sequencing to try to identify and confirm the pospiviroid.

  2. Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) seed testing package (1500 seeds)

Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) effects tomato, pepper and other solanaceous hosts. Symptoms include stunting, severe yellowing and distortion of the leaves. PSTVd is seed transmitted. 1500 seeds are tested for Potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd) by real time RT-PCR (TaqMan). However, this TaqMan assay also detects Tomato chlorotic dwarf viroid (TCDVd), Mexican papita viroid (MPVd) and Tomato planta macho viroid (TPMVd).

  3. Identification and confirmation of pospiviroid seed positive

Pospiviroid positives detected by real time RT-PCR (TaqMan) are tested by RT-PCR and sequencing to try to identify and confirm the pospiviroid.

  4. Colletotrichum spp. test on Lupin seed (1200 Seeds)

A quantitative test to detect the presence or absence of the genus Colletotrichum spp. in Lupin Seeds.

  5. Strawberry red core (Phytophthora fragariae) in plants (Symptomatic)
This test for symptomatic plants to confirm the presence of strawberry red core (Phytophthora Fragariae) within your sample.
  6. Diagnose my Fungal Problem
We understand that every case is different and often you may not know the likely cause of the problem. For these cases we offer an examination of your sample by our crop health experts to assess the most probable cause.
  7. Strawberry wilt (Verticillium dahliae) in plants (symptomatic)
This test is for symptomatic plants to confirm the presence of strawberry wilt (Verticillium Dahliae) within your sample.
  8. Strawberry crown rot (Phytophthora Cactorum) in plants (Symptomatic)
This test is for symptomatic plants to confirm the presence of strawberry crown rot (Phytiphthora Cactorum) within your sample.
  9. Strawberry crown rot (Phytophthora cactorum) in plants (Non-symptomatic)
This test is to screen healthy plants to check for the presence of strawberry crown rot within your sample.
  10. Barley yellow dwarf virus and Soil borne cereal mosaic virus

This testing for cereal crops covers both Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) and Soil-borne cereal mosaic virus.

  11. Cereals: Barley mild mosaic virus and Barley yellow mosaic virus
Barley yellow mosaic virus and Barley mild mosaic virus are pathogenic viruses which cause yellow mosaic disease of winter barley.
  12. Crown Gall Disease (Tumor-Inducing Plasmid) Testing
A test for Rhizobium radiobacter (formerly known as Agrobacterium tumefaciens), which is responsible for crown gall disease in plants. The bacterium enters the plant through wounds in roots or stems and stimulates disorganised tissue growth, producing swollen galls.
